Pinco Rules and Regulations in Canada

These Terms and Conditions set the legal rules for your use of the official website and mobile application in Canada. They apply to every visitor and registered account holder located in Canada, subject to provincial and territorial laws. By accessing the services, you agree to read and follow these terms. Availability may differ by province or territory, including areas where betting is not allowed. Pinco may provide province-specific rules where required by local regulators.

General Terms

  • Acceptance of terms
    • By creating an account, completing registration, placing a bet, or using any services, you accept these terms, our Privacy Policy, and any sport- or event-specific rules.
    • You should read these terms regularly. Continued use after updates means you agree to the revised version.
  • Eligibility and who may use the services
    • You must be of legal gambling age in your province or territory: 19+ in most provinces and territories, and 18+ in Alberta, Manitoba, and Québec.
    • You may only use the services where betting is legal and allowed under local rules. Access through a VPN or other location-masking tools is prohibited.
    • One account per person. Accounts are for personal use only and cannot be shared, sold, or used on behalf of third parties.
  • Changes to terms
    • Pinco may modify these terms to reflect regulatory changes, product updates, or risk controls. Material changes will be posted in the terms page or your account area before taking effect.
  • Proper platform use
    • You agree not to: engage in fraud or collusion; exploit software bugs; use bots or automated scripts; scrape odds or data; circumvent limits; manipulate markets or events; or abuse any Pinco bonus or bonuses.
    • Any suspected integrity issue, including match-fixing or suspicious bets, may lead to account review, bet cancellations, or reporting to authorities.
  • Intellectual property and content protection
    • Site content, markets, odds, logos, and software are protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, revocable licence to access and use the services for personal, non-commercial betting.
    • You may not copy, redistribute, or reverse engineer any part of the platform without permission.
  • Liability limitations
    • To the extent permitted by law, the services are provided on an “as available” basis. Operational or network issues may interrupt access or betting during live events.
    • Our aggregate liability for any claim related to a bet or transaction is limited to the amount of the affected stake or transaction.
    • Nothing in these terms limits your rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
  • Jurisdiction and conflicts
    • Local laws may apply based on your residence and where the services are offered. If you are located in a province that requires a province-specific site or operator, you must use that version where available.

General Betting Rules

  • Who can place bets
    • Only verified account holders who meet age and legal eligibility may place a bet. Placing bets while located in a restricted area is not allowed.
  • Acceptance and confirmation
    • A bet is accepted when it appears as “confirmed” in your bet history and receives a reference ID. Pending or processing states are not confirmed bets.
    • For live betting, acceptance is subject to market availability and price changes. Markets may suspend or reject bets during critical moments of an event.
  • Stakes, limits, and payouts
    • Minimum and maximum stakes, and any maximum payout per market or account, are shown in the bet slip or market rules and may vary by sport or event.
    • Risk controls may adjust limits, restrict markets, or limit the number of bets on related outcomes.
  • Odds and settlement
    • Bets are settled using the odds displayed at the time of acceptance. If an obvious pricing error occurs, we may void the bet or settle at a fair market price.
    • Results are settled using official sources, event organisers, or recognised data providers. Subsequent changes to results may not affect settlement unless specified in sport-specific rules.
    • Dead-heat rules: if two or more selections tie for a settle position, the payout is proportionally reduced based on the number of tied selections.
  • Cancellations and voids
    • If an event is postponed or abandoned, settlement follows market-specific rules. Bets may stand if the event is completed within a defined window or be voided if not played.
    • Bets placed after an outcome is known, or after a material advantage occurs, are void.
  • Cash out
    • Cash out, where offered, is discretionary and not guaranteed. Requests may be rejected or delayed due to market changes or technical reasons.
  • Bonus use
    • Free bets and bonus stakes, where offered, do not return the stake amount in winnings unless stated in the bonus terms. Wagering restrictions may apply to bonuses.

Payment Rules

  • Deposits
    • Funding options are shown in your account cashier and may include Interac, cards, e-wallets, and other legal methods available in Canada.
    • Minimums, maximums, and any fees are displayed before you confirm a transaction. Deposits must come from a payment method held in your name.
    • Funds are usually credited promptly; delays can occur due to bank processing or verification checks.
  • Withdrawals
    • Pinco withdrawals are paid to the original funding method where possible, subject to security checks and anti-money laundering rules.
    • Processing times vary by method and verification status. Additional checks may extend timelines for first-time or large withdrawals.
    • We may request identity, address, and source-of-funds documents before approving payouts.
  • Verification and security
    • Pinco may conduct KYC verification at registration, deposit, withdrawal, or any time risk monitoring requires it. Failure to provide requested documents can lead to cancellation of withdrawals or account restrictions.
  • Transaction restrictions and reversals
    • We may refuse, freeze, or reverse transactions that breach these terms, indicate fraud, or contravene AML requirements. Chargebacks are treated as breaches and may result in account suspension.
  • Currency, errors, and taxes
    • Account currency is CAD unless shown otherwise. Obvious payment errors may be corrected, and any overpayments must be returned.
    • You are responsible for reporting and paying any taxes related to your winnings under Canadian law.

Responsible Gambling

  • Player protection principles
    • Gambling should be entertainment, not a source of income. Set a budget and time limits before you start betting.
  • Responsible gaming control tools available
    • Deposit, loss, or wagering limits: set daily, weekly, or monthly caps in your account.
    • Time-outs: short cooling-off periods to pause activity.
    • Self-exclusion: longer blocks that prevent access and new bets for a defined period.
    • Reality checks: on-screen reminders of session length and net position.
    • Marketing controls: update preferences or opt out of promotional communications.
  • Signs of risk
    • Chasing losses, hiding betting activity, using funds needed for bills, or betting more often than intended are indicators to seek support.
  • Support resources in Canada
    • ConnexOntario (information and referrals for Ontario)
    • Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH)
    • Canadian Mental Health Association (local branches)
    • Gamblers Anonymous Canada and GamTalk (peer support)
    • Provincial problem gambling helplines listed by your health ministry
  • Implementation
    • Tool availability may vary by province or product. Requesting self-exclusion will pause bonuses and disable bets for the chosen period.

Anti-Money Laundering

  • Legal obligations and approach
    • We operate controls designed to prevent money laundering and terrorism financing under applicable Canadian laws and guidance. Reporting to competent authorities such as FINTRAC may occur where required by law.
  • KYC and due diligence
    • Identification: government-issued photo ID, proof of address, and where relevant, source-of-funds or source-of-wealth information.
    • Screening: checks against sanctions, PEP lists, and adverse media, proportionate to risk.
    • Ongoing monitoring: periodic refresh of documents and dynamic risk reviews.
  • Transaction monitoring
    • Systems review deposit and withdrawal patterns, rapid cash-outs, third-party payments, and structuring to avoid thresholds.
    • Suspicious activity may trigger requests for information, delays, or reporting to authorities.
  • Consequences of breaches
    • Pinco may place temporary holds, freeze funds, cancel transactions, restrict markets, or close your account. Funds may be retained where required by law or court order.

Privacy Policy

  • Data we collect
    • Identity and contact details provided at registration and verification.
    • Account information, transaction history, bets placed, bonuses used, and responsible gambling settings.
    • Technical data such as device identifiers, IP address, geolocation checks for legal use, and cookie data.
  • How we use your data
    • To operate the services, process payments, settle bets, and manage your account.
    • To verify age and identity, prevent fraud, meet legal and AML obligations, and enforce rights.
    • To provide support, service notices, and, if you opt in, marketing about products, odds updates, or bonus information.
  • Legal bases
    • Performance of a contract, legal obligations, and legitimate interests. Consent is used for certain marketing and cookies, where applicable.
  • Sharing and transfers
    • Service providers for payments, KYC, risk, and customer support; regulators or law enforcement where required; and fraud prevention agencies.
    • Cross-border transfers use safeguards permitted by law when data leaves Canada.

    • To exercise rights, contact support through your account. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
  • Retention and cookies
    • We keep personal data only as long as needed for services, regulatory requirements, and dispute resolution. AML laws may require retention for several years after account closure.
    • Cookie use is described in our Cookie Policy. You can manage preferences in your browser and account settings.

Security

  • Our security measures
    • TLS encryption for data in transit and strong encryption for data at rest.
    • Strict access controls, audit logging, and continuous monitoring of platform activity.
    • Regular vulnerability scanning and independent penetration testing.
  • Account protections
    • Support for two-factor authentication. Strong password standards and login alerts help protect your account.
    • Session timeouts, device checks, and lockouts after repeated failed logins reduce risk.
  • Your responsibilities
    • Keep credentials confidential, enable two-factor authentication, and review your account activity regularly.
    • Notify support promptly if you suspect unauthorised access, lost devices, or any security breach.
  • Incident response
    • If a security incident affects your data or account, we will investigate, mitigate, and provide notices required by applicable law.
